    Overview

Glean revolutionizes enterprise productivity through its AI-powered workspace platform. At its core, Glean employs Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to deliver secure, permission-based access to organizational knowledge. The platform combines a sophisticated enterprise knowledge graph with web-sourced information, enabling contextually rich AI interactions.

A standout feature is Glean Agents - AI assistants that can be created and customized by any employee using natural language, without requiring technical expertise. While maintaining enterprise-grade security and compliance, these agents transform complex workflows into streamlined processes. By automating traditionally time-intensive tasks across departments, Glean Agents enhance team efficiency and drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction.

The platform's comprehensive approach to knowledge management and task automation makes it a powerful tool for organizations seeking to modernize their work processes and maximize productivity.

    Highlights

    • Information Fragmentation: Glean addresses the challenge of deploying and adopting generative AI across enterprises in a secure and centrally managed manner. It simplifies the complexity, cost, and security risks associated with federated shadow IT approaches by using its foundational enterprise search to create a contextual knowledge graph that powers applications and agents.
    • Productivity Loss: Employees often spend excessive time searching for information and performing repetitive tasks. Glean agents automate these processes, saving valuable time and increasing productivity across the organization.
    • AI Literacy and Adoption: Many organizations struggle with inconsistent AI adoption due to varying levels of technical expertise among employees. Glean democratizes AI access through intuitive no-code interfaces and personalized assistance, enabling all employee regardless of technical background to leverage advanced AI capabilities in their daily workflows without extensive training.

    Dimensions summary

You buy this platform on a contract basis priced per seat. A seat is one monthly Glean user. Your total cost scales directly with the number of users you enable each month. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from — pricing follows a single per-user unit. To adjust cost, you add or remove seats based on how many people in your organization need access.

    Top-of-mind questions for buyers

A seat is one monthly Glean user — an individual person you enable to access the platform. You are billed based on the number of users active each month. Each person who uses Glean counts as one seat, regardless of which apps or features they use.
Your cost tracks the number of monthly Glean users you enable. Adding users raises your seat count; removing users lowers it. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes, so cost moves in a single per-user unit as your active user base changes.
No. Pricing follows a single per-seat unit based on monthly users, not the number of app connectors or data sources you enable. Glean connects to many business tools and indexes company data, but your bill is driven only by how many people have access.

Glean Made Finding Information Across Our Organization Effortless

    Reviewed on Aug 12, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It has changed the way we search for things across our organisation. Before, finding information was painful; now, with Glean, it’s much easier. Even with just a tiny bit of information, it can still try to find what I’m looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far this has been pretty good.
    No complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Convenient, Fast Knowledge Hub with Powerful Integrations

    Reviewed on Aug 06, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
We use Glean to centralize our knowledge base, and it’s very convenient to have everything in one place. It lets us quickly search for topics, create agents that can answer specific questions, and also gives us a centralized hub to use different models.

The UI is straightforward and chat-based, and the integrations with tools like Slack, Jira, and Confluence make it especially powerful. Since it looks like other chat AI tools, it feels familiar and is easy to start using right away, so onboarding people is pretty easy, since they feel at home using a tool that is similar to customer ones.

The models available are solid, the answers are fast, and most of the time the results are relevant. It also allows us to cut subscription costs and use Glean as the central place for AI usage in the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the thing that I don't like is when the responses are not relevant to my search, but I believe that reflects more on the quality or our data then tha tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m an engineer, and for me it’s especially helpful for finding documentation and cross-referencing across support, product, market, and code. It gives me a centralized place to go when I need to search a wide net of resources, and it returns a more complete view that helps me get my work done.

Powerful for Siloed Data, but Too Expensive as LLMs Improve

    Reviewed on Aug 05, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
For larger organizations that have data, documents, and collateral scattered across different databases and repositories and deal with siloes / complicated permissioning, Glean can help simplify AI integrations / collateral administration. It also pitches itself as an AI cost management tool that helps match tasks to the most efficient LLMs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive, and the LLMs are getting better and inferring context. With a little front-end work on data and content management, we no longer saw the value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are terminating our relationship with Glean - it is no longer accomplishing anything for us that we're not able to do directly with LLMs.

    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, available integrations with many vendors and their on going support is amazing. AI agents being added as soon as being released is also a big pls
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing might be a bit high for small companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem being solved is actually their main product search. After hooking up different knowledge bases and communication tools like slack its way faster and easier to find what you are looking for.
