What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Vanta's excellent UX and thoughtfully designed system for navigating audits and remediating failing tests. Automated emails from Vanta help me keep on top of my 'inbox' of security tasks, providing peace of mind during observation windows with our audit team. The helpful remediation instructions make it clear what action I need to take on any given control. The initial setup of Vanta was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updating PDF policies is a PITA and this has not been fully resolved; a more interactive template 'editor' that generated the PDF from source copy + a review history would be a major improvement. After undergoing a branding change, for example, I had to download each policy and update our logo and the revision history manually in Acrobat. They should automate this in a 'document constructor' feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Vanta for SOC 2 compliance, automating controls to maintain security. It keeps me 'inbox zero' with automated emails and provides peace of mind during audits. The UX is excellent, and it clearly guides me through remediation tasks.

I like that Vanta automates most of the busy work, which helps streamline our SOC 2 process by managing evidence and checks efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not quite every integration we need. Employees not always clear on what they need to do and need chasing. Integrations are never ending. Need something better than email notifications for employees as too easy to drop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps manage evidence and checks in our SOC 2 process, and automates most of the busy work.

It’s easy to use, does exactly what I need it to do and has integrations to all major tools companies use.

The AI can be a bit glitchy when it comes to reading data from Excel sheets and forms.

It saves us a lot of time on our compliance activities and greatly streamlines the audit process.
