Financing for AWS Marketplace purchases

Pricing
Pricing is based on the duration and terms of your contract with the vendor, and additional usage. You pay upfront or in installments according to your contract terms with the vendor. This entitles you to a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Usage-based pricing is in effect for overages or additional usage not covered in the contract. These charges are applied on top of the contract price. If you choose not to renew or replace your contract before the contract end date, access to your entitlements will expire.

Dimensions summary
You start with one of three subscription plans: Lite, Basic, or Plus. Each plan bundles livestream, VOD, encoding, player, and DRM capacity. When your usage passes the amounts your contract includes, you pay overage rates. These overages are billed separately by resource: CDN and storage per gigabyte, encoding per gigabyte, DRM per 10 requests, and livestream per minute. You can add two support options: 24/7 premium customer service billed monthly, and live event support billed per labor minute. Overages and support scale independently from your base plan.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
DRM overages bill per 10 license requests beyond your contract amount. A request occurs when a viewer's device asks for a license key to play protected content. The platform supports license management for major DRM systems, so each playback session on a protected asset can generate a license request.
Each resource meters and bills on its own. CDN and storage bill per gigabyte, encoding per gigabyte, DRM per 10 requests, and livestream per minute. These charges apply simultaneously and independently. Exceeding one included amount does not affect the others. All overages appear alongside your base plan.
24/7 premium customer service bills monthly as a recurring add-on for ongoing support access. Live event support bills per labor minute, charging only for the time staff assist during a specific event. One is a flat monthly commitment; the other scales with actual event hours used.
